A new start requires a new website
After years of making various illustrations for clients and newspapers, I am taking a new path with my artwork. It's not that I'm leaving the period I refer to above and make no longer illustrations for the various media, no, certainly not. However, I get a lot of pleasure from my sketch work and in this way I want to give my new material a more prominent place.
To add even more variety in making drawings and paintings, it is good to make sketches in different places, with people, animals and objects. For example, I also represent the Urban Sketchers group. These sketchers regularly go out to immediately make a sketch of what they observe at that moment and want to register precisely that. Observing the place where you are, a situation you see at that moment and taking in everything that is nearby makes it the more beautiful to depict just that. Whether someone is at the checkout in a supermarket, a cloudy sky glides over your head, a building is in an area where the sun is setting or a season shows its properties, for example the autumn colors or a winter landscape. This website was rebuilt from scratch in September 2021. Not all pages are filled with content yet, but I will work on creating new pages and filling the existing ones with new work!
